Another beautiful day at the beach.

Tomorrow we leave Eilat by bus to Jerusalem. Want get there until about 10 pm.  Today was another JEwish holiday. Succotstarted at sunset so everyone closed early and all the people left the beach early.  Hannah is a very serious Orthodox Jew so we tried to do it right, we got a message at the last minute with unsettling news about her daughter, and it delayed us a few minutes and we missed sunset.  However she said it is Ok, God is not mad and she doesn't have to make it up.  If she had made it, she would have gotten a mitzvah , which is kinda an atta -girl from God but since she did not make it it's ok.  The buses shut down but airport still flying.  Most restaurants closed mid afternoon, but some stayed open and served high priced dinners, $50-70 a plate.  This lasts for 8 days and they eat but they eat outside in a decorated booth type area with no top.  It is in remembrance of Jonah when God provided shelter.  Got to google that.
We just got a new lady in our room.  Here in Israel we have a Russian.  A little tension already between our Jew and Russian.  It is really thick here already with Arabs.  They hesitate to pass each other on the street.  They just avoid each other if at all possible.  I don't know how it will be in Jerusalem, but here where the countries are so close the tension is easy to find.
Such sad news of all the flooding in Colorado and now Mexico.  Then the Navy yard shooting.  I'm not that sure I lie having English news after all.
